Life in academia isn't easy. The many competing demands may have you in a state of constant overdrive, rushing from one thing to the next with little time to breathe let alone reflect on where you are and where you're headed. The hope of accomplishing all of your professional goals while maintaining some sense of balance and calm can begin to feel like a pipe dream.

As a faculty member and academic leader at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for two decades, I experienced these challenges firsthand. And as one of very few women in my department throughout my academic career (including as an undergraduate and graduate student), I know what it's like to feel both conspicuous and invisible at the very same time.

I founded nodramaturg coaching & consulting* to support professionals in higher education (and beyond) who want to find a better way. In one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to your specific needs, we'll uncover obstacles and consider new perspectives, leading to enhanced productivity and well-being. Sessions typically take place by phone or video conference, so there are no geographic constraints.
